Our Fornebu vacation in Norway was highlighted by our stay at the Quality Hotel Expo, giving prominence to landscape gardens and spacious rooms. But, we gained a different perspective of Oslo’s busy city life after we spent a day working from the on-site Wayne’s coffee shop. Wayne’s to us came across, as a natural meeting place, with an incredible selection of appetizers and beverages. A casual-compact coffee shop where you can chat up business colleagues, friends, or relax while reading a magazine. We had to send out some important business emails, and Wayne’s is where we found the best Wi-Fi. And so, next few hours were well-spent switching between inboxes and sipping ‘Supercino’ and Wayne’s hot chocolate.
We are yet to try Wayne’s organic coffee, FIKA, which according to the brand tastes best when saving the rainforest. It’s not just the organic coffee, but its an environmental impact served in a ceramic bowl of stratagem. From the delicious food menu, some of the freshly cooked items on display were salads, Filo rolls, sourdough toast, croissants, ciabatta, and lasagne. From the new line collection, were the eco-labeled turmeric-ginger shots, and cold-pressed juices along with, high on antioxidants Acai-bowl and the organic yogurt.
A selection that had us drooling over its iconic aroma and presentation. Those staying at Quality Hotel Expo, must certainly, spend a few hours in Wayne’s cafe. Which, may also turn out be your only chance at interacting with locals.
