Treehouse Sunrise Resort & Caravan Park: An Unusual Getaway

We touched down in Delhi at precisely 1 pm, and after a speedy lunch, we set off to Neemrana’s TreeHouse Sunrise Resort & Caravan Park – a three-and-a-half hour journey from Gurgaon. We arrived at 6 pm in time for a glorious sunset, with a fun chai Pakoda session to top off the evening. After our snack, we toured the property, looking forward to the evening ahead!

Treehouse Resort & Caravan Park

Treehouse Sunrise Resort & Caravan Park is spread across 10 acres of lush land, making it the ideal destination for travellers, families and anyone looking for a leisurely weekend getaway. As we took the grand tour, we were mesmerized by its vast green spaces, plentiful indoor and outdoor activities, caravan park and a plethora of amenities.

Take a dip in the pool and savour the stunning views of the Aravalli Range, or just sit back and relax in your own private garden – no matter how you choose to spend your time here, you’re sure to leave feeling re-energised.

We eagerly checked into a ground floor room that was our own personal oasis, complete with a private garden – and all the bells and whistles! Not to mention the air conditioning, tea/coffee maker and a washroom with complimentary toiletries. It was definitely the perfect place to rest our weary heads. At 8.30 pm, we were warmly welcomed to Caravan Park. Located just behind the hotel, near the pool, a bonfire was set ablaze and under the twinkling stars, we indulged in an enjoyable evening. The flames of the bonfire danced in the night, while Jayant, strummed his guitar and created a melodious atmosphere.

“Unless and until you have caravan parks, the caravan business in India will not take off. They need a safe place to park the caravans. At Treehouse Neemrana we are trying to create a safe haven for people to park their caravans as well as create an alternate experience for travellers looking for new things and new experieces,” quipped Jayant Singh Sisodia, the MD of TreeHouse Hotels. We sipped on drinks, feasted on delicious kebabs, and sang along to the music. By 11.30 pm, we moved to the hotel restaurant to enjoy a scrumptious dinner of Paneer and chicken.

The following morning, we were treated to a little morning pick-me-up of orange juice, tea and jeera biscuits, and then taken on an invigorating tour of the Neemrana Baori and Neemrana Fort. Both these landmarks are within a 30-minute drive from the hotel. The nine-storey Neemrana Baori is one of the biggest and deepest stepwells in India. It was a breathtaking view, and we must say, one of the most beautiful we’ve seen in the country!

Neemrana Fort

Nestled atop the hills of Aravali, the majestic Neemrana Fort is a 15th-century palace that has been given a new lease of life as a heritage resort. The Neemrana Fort is a majestic 11-tiered structure that’s sure to keep you busy! An architectural marvel, the fort is a witness to the oldest fold mountains in the world. Today, Neemrana Fort, built in 1464 and formerly under the reign of Rajput Maharaja Prithvi Raj Chauhan III, is no longer a historical relic but a luxurious resort! Here, visitors can revel in the rich culture and history of the past while enjoying all of the modern amenities the resort has to offer – all you have to do is book a room or pay the entrance fee to gain access to this regal retreat!

Neemrana Fort Palace

This ancient heritage resort offers spectacular views of the fort and the surrounding ranges, along with two breathtaking pools, luxurious rooms, and the most amazing hanging gardens. With its unmistakable charm and its fabulous Rajasthani cuisine, it’s no wonder why it’s the perfect destination for a weekend getaway, a wedding or any other special occasion.

Laal Maas Treehouse Neemrana

After a strenuous hike up to Neemrana Fort and Boari, Treehouse Neemrana greeted us with a spread of local delicacies, including Kadhai Paneer, Daal, Mixed Veg and the infamous Laal Maas, all served with a generous helping of steaming hot rice and a variety of freshly-baked bread. We made sure to round off the day with yet another cup of tea before heading off to Achrol Niwas, a treehouse property located an agreeable 2.5 hours away from Treehouse Neemrana.
