Le Choupinet café in Paris has recently gained popularity through Instagram. This Paris-based café has placed huge teddy bears on its chairs to help maintain, social distancing in an adorable way. Likewise, a restaurant in Bangkok, and the Maison Saigon from Vietnam, have placed padded panda dolls on the dining tables to accompany guests, while, maintaining physical distancing.

The Gibbontei, an Animal Restaurant at Izu Shaboten Zoological Park in Japan has seated, large South American ‘stuffed’ capybaras–giant rodents on the tables. These toys consume half of the seats, consequently, enforcing social distancing of 2-metres amongst diners. Similarly, a Sydney based restaurant has installed cardboard cut-outs of faces on chairs, intended to be kept empty. In India, diverse restaurants are using, translucent partitions to protect diners from Coronavirus even when they share a table for the meal.
