It’s all in the name when it comes to O2 Spa, situated at Express Inn Business Hotel, in Nashik. For O2 Spa has the same refreshing effect on you, as Oxygen to your body. At first glimpse, O2 Spa is a luxe world of wellness welcoming you to a floor-to-ceiling intricate wooden door. With the waiting lounge decorated in subtle orange shades and more wooden components.
Whether in town for a meeting, or seeking a perfect retreat from your busy schedule, a visit to this spa will relieve all the stress. During our weekend stay at the property, we ventured out to explore the Pandavleni Caves on a hilltop. We were sure to get tired from an all-too-long journey that required climbing 200 rock-built stairs. As we entered the spa, the first object we laid our eyes on was this healing golden statue of Buddha.
If wellness has anything to do with peace of mind, an image of Buddha certainly instills that first positive thought. Soon after, we proceeded to our spa rooms which unfolded like another hidden surprise. Opening to a tranquil setting of an eco-environment, these compact Spa rooms ensure nothing but a soulful experience.

Next 30-minutes were spent well indulging, in a stress relieving foot reflexology treatment. The therapist didn’t understand English too well however, she was too good at her job. At first, she applied pressure to my feet with a traditional acupressure stick while, eventually releasing it all with a gentle yet, firm leg massage.
On the whole, the Oriental massage techniques extracted every ounce of pain from our feet, making them feel very light. For those who may not know, the origins of Foot reflexology date back to the Egyptian Era. However, during middle-age, Asians adapted most of those massage techniques in their therapy culture. (while adding Asian values to it) Nowadays, the Oriental foot-reflexology breaks down the tension knots by applying concentrated, pressure. Which, is why its one of our favorite ‘short-treatments’ to get feather-light feet.
