Novotel Sant Joan Despi In Barcelona

Novotel Sant Joan Despi in Barcelona is a leisure and business hotel featuring modern rooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant and tailored services to suit individuals. You can spot Sant Joan Despi from a distance because of its distinctive design and glasswork. This fascinating property is located close to the airport and offers easy access to tram and bus stops, connecting to the city centre. Apart from its business services, this lovely hotel also boasts a beautiful garden and a poolside restaurant on the terrace. The usual check-in time is 2 PM, while you are expected to check out at 12 PM the following day.

Spacious Suite Rooms

During my time with Sant Joan Despi, I stayed at one of their self-contained suite rooms with a compact kitchenette. The room prices vary from INR 8000 ($ 125) to INR 16,000 ($250) per night. This clean, spacious suite room was furnished, with chic carpet, decor and great window curtains. The in-room facilities I enjoyed comprised complimentary hi-speed Wi-Fi, tea-coffee and complimentary toiletries in the ensuite bath.

I found this hotel worth staying at in Barcelona, because, as compared to the other properties in the neighbourhood, Sant Joan Despi offers better services for an economical price. This Accor group hotel is a perfect accommodation for anyone wanting to stay close to the city by avoiding the mainstream hustle-bustle.

Sant Joan Despi On-site Services

Each day during my stay, I enjoyed a lavish breakfast at the on-site restaurant between 6.30 to 10 AM. Apart from breakfast, this hotel also serves traditional and continental cuisine. I highly recommend the seafood paella for its authentic Spanish flavours. In the evening, you can unwind at the bar or relax by the pool. Sant Joan Despi also offers trampoline and table tennis for children to enjoy. While children play, parents may either sunbathe, take a dip or enjoy reading a book on a sunbed by the pool. Either way, the staff is just a call away. The cordial hotel staff also told me about the prime landmarks of Barcelona and the best way to reach there.

As for the airport transfer – a one-way airport fare will cost you nearly $36 (INR 2300) from the hotel. If you are planning to stay in Barcelona for more than three days, then it’s advised you buy the T10 tickets. Overall, a nice hotel for a short or long stay in Barcelona.
