The Creative Kitchen Continental Set Menu

The Creative Kitchen is Radisson Blu Indore’s lovely all-day dining restaurant. Even though, most room guests prefer to savour the traditional buffet. With of course a wide layout of global cuisines, which is why it is so hard, to not give yourself to it. Then again, variety is the spice of life, and once in a while, we all deserve to try something different. Like I did, on this very day during my stay at Radisson Indore. Instead of eyeing the sumptuous spread, today, I focused my attention on the Continental set menu. A 3-course menu tossed with classic savoury, main course, and a cheesecake for dessert.

Wild Mushroom and Porcini Cappuccino Soup

TCK Wild Mushroom and Porcini Cappuccino

Loved by most Master Chefs across the world, Wild Mushroom and Porcini Cappuccino Soup is the real deal, when it comes, to a 3-course set menu. If they say, fill up first on soups, this deliciously exotic and foamed soup, with Truffle oil, qualifies the claim at ‘The Creative Kitchen,’ in Radisson Blu Indore. The soup resembles a cup of hot steamy cappuccino, topped with whipped cream. I love Truffle soups loaded with cheese, yet, this light-textured blend had my taste buds attuned to its quintessential simplicity. Although, it will be nice to have Chefs add a few extra drops of Truffle oil to the soup for an enhanced taste. Maybe, you could request them on spot.

New Zealand Herb-Crusted Lamb Rack with Truffle and Parmesan Mash

NZ Herb crusted Lam Rack with Truffle and Parmesan Mash

Never been to New Zealand, but, this is the closest you can get to tasting an island country’s surf n turf item in Indore. The New Zealand Herb-crusted Lamb Rack, is a beautiful marriage, of heavenly fresh meats and herbs, served with scrumptious Truffle and Parmesan Mash. By all means, my favourite lamb in Indore.

Wild Berry Philadelphia Cheese Cake with Saffron and Vanilla Sauce

Wild Berry Philadelphia Cheese Cake with Saffron and Vanilla Sauce

For desserts, I savoured the deliciously exotic, Wild Berry Philadelphia Cheesecake, served with a mellow drizzle of Saffron and Vanilla Sauce. This gorgeous, Instagram-worthy dessert curated by Executive Chef Mukul Jha, bears the authentic 18th-century essence of an original Philadelphia cake with an uneven crusted texture. For in Philly, they stretch out the cheese on different levels when they bake this thick custard. No better way to finish a mid-day meal with a fantastic dessert that settles the stomach as well, clear the palate.
