Red Korean Ginseng: Try Reverse Ageing

My tryst with Red Korean Ginseng chanced at Singapore, at the time I sailed Genting Dream Cruise. Ginseng is Asia’s secret ingredient that boosts reverse ageing. As I leisurely strolled across the shopping arcade of Dream Cruise, I noticed a large part of the food section stacked with beautiful red boxes laced with golden designs. Intrigued by the packaging, I approached the counter to take a closer look. I was promptly accosted, by the counter attendant who gave me a short tour of the ingredient. But before describing Ginseng in detail, he narrated the story of the longest-living man on Earth.

Red Korean Ginseng

Li Ching-Yun, a Chinese herbalist and martial artist, is believed to have lived 256 years, with Ginseng being the elixir of his youth. For as long as he lived, he thrived on a is Fo-Ti and Ginseng rich diet. Following the demise of Li Ching-Yun, New York Times published an article affirming, “Many who have seen him recently declared that his facial appearance is no different from that of a person two centuries his junior.” The attendant asserted, “For thousands of years, Ginseng roots have been grown by the affluent royals on the exotic Asian lands.

Ginseng roots draw in unparalleled multi-healing and anti-ageing benefits thus, hard to source. You may only buy these roots (or powdered Ginseng) from upscale supermarkets or luxury cruises that sail across certain parts of Asia and America. He continued, “Here, on Dream Cruise we have exclusively stocked RKG, Limited RKG and Royal RKG – the finest Ginseng in the world.” He then showed me different metal boxes with slightly altered packaging. The Ginseng in these metal boxes were either in the form of roots, powder or candies. While I may have not entirely believed the story of Li Ching-Yun, I was partially convinced to give this root a try!

So I bought four boxes of the Limited ‘powdered’ RKG, one box of Royal RKG and nearly ten boxes of Ginseng candies. I didn’t buy the root as I am somewhat new to this ingredient, and I thought using the powder will be far more comfortable. Candies never hurt anyone, so they were the safest bet! As for the powdered Ginseng, the counter attendant told me that the best way to consume it would be with lukewarm water, a cup of tea or a bowl of soup. It’s a known fact that devouring a subscribed dose of Ginseng every day alters the rate of human body metabolism.

Better metabolism leads to improved activeness and a better digestive system, and many people may find that using it in conjunction with other natural cures can be greatly beneficial. Be it, heart, lungs, liver, stomach or kidney, routine use of Ginseng keeps every organ in check. Although, what truly makes Ginseng extraordinary is that it contains over 32 ginsenosides that serve as anti-aging molecules.

The anti-inflammatory properties of Ginseng keep your skin firm with no wrinkles. While billing me, he smiled and mentioned, “Mam, Limited Edition is very ‘special’, and you will surely like them. Only 2% of all the Ginseng roots in the world make it to the Limited Edition. Each of these roots has perfect anatomy, making it the rarest of the given lot.”

As fascinated as I was by the benefits and fancy tales of this ‘highly’ prized Asian ingredient, I was only purchasing it to introduce it to my family back in India. Fast forward a few months; my skin looks better, and my parents have better immunity and regulated blood sugar. The experiment worked for us but, in the process, I also learnt that you must not mix Ginseng with everything. It works well with a few Asian ingredients but, the safest way to consume it is with a cup of green tea.

The Limited Ginseng I bought came in sachets so I didn’t have to worry about the measurements. However, shall you choose to purchase the Ginseng roots, please ask the salesperson for the dosage or look up the brand’s website for additional information.

Spread the love

  1. When someone writes an paragraph he/she keeps the image of a user in his/her brain that how a user can understand it. So that’s why this article is outstdanding. Thanks!

  2. I am not a very big fan of Asian food but that’s one of the healthiest food to eat and enhance your life potential. The Asians including the Chinese, Japanese and the Koreans have mastered the art of human alternative medicine (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and therapies and they remain secret to the outside world. Ginseng is one of the parts to the whole story… Nice article… 🙂
