Playboy Club Mumbai: The Swankiest Club Downtown
Perched in the heart of Mumbai is the recently launched Playboy Club of Birla Centurion – the one and only place to be if you want to experience luxe, VVIP partying! Spanning across a whopping 8000 sq. ft. of luxurious opulence, this exclusive club is frequented by the city’s most influential entrepreneurs, actors, and advertising professionals. With its famously bunny-dressed waitstaff, bumping 90s music, and sizzling dance floor, the Playboy Club takes your clubbing experience to the absolute next level!
Who’s the one responsible for getting you on your feet and groovin’? Since its launch in 2016, Playboy Club Mumbai has brought the A-list talent of Shadow, Carnage, Arjun Rampal, Candella and Chuck Wonderland to have you groovin’ to their high-energy sets. Not to mention, the club also throws in some delicious grub and beverages to truly make the night one to remember. And if that’s not enough, Playboy Club Mumbai boasts three first-class bars with mixologists concocting some delicious drinks to really get the party going.
But, if you’re looking to make it a more intimate affair, there’s also the grand VIP club room with a designated staff that’ll be more than happy to make your get-together a night to remember! I was invited by Yezdi Irani to check out the new hotspot in South Mumbai, and oh boy, was it worth it! As I stepped in, I was greeted with a spectacular sight – hovering lights that made me feel like I was in a UFO! Believe me, I’m not exaggerating! The ceiling and the lighting were so beautifully crafted that it was hard to take my eyes off of it. I spent the rest of the night watching laser lights and disco balls dancing to the funky, retro music.
Speaking of which, the vintage vibes were so strong that I couldn’t help but be taken back to the golden days of the past. Of course, I did some dancing too – swaying within the velvet ropes that surrounded my table, of course!
In the 1950s, the foundations of the first ever Playboy Club were set when the iconic rabbit-head logo was acquired. And then, in the ’60s, history was made as the doors to the first Playboy Club opened in Chicago. Over the years, Playboy has grown to become a true Gentleman’s Brand, and with the launch of Playboy Magazine, it became an instant hit with high-society. And now, in Mumbai, the Playboy Club is dedicated to making sure that every weekend is wild, with a fabulous selection of DJs, food, and drinks – it’s definitely the place I want to be!

Food and Beverage Recommendation
I decided to treat myself to the Signature Playboy Potion, a vodka-based chilli cocktail that had my taste buds dancing with delight! Bursting with fresh strawberries, red chillies and a hint of lime juice, it was an unusually tasty concoction that left my mouth tingling with flavour. (It’s a must-try!) If you’re looking for something a bit more refreshing, the Mid Summer Iced Tea was just the ticket – a heady mix of rum, vodka, gin, tequila, triple sec, red bull and blue curacao that was sure to put a smile on your face!
From the scrumptious finger food selection, I simply devoured the chef-special Kosher Salt and Cayenne Pepper Chicken, with a special chicken imported from China. If you’re a fan of spicy dishes, then the Thai green curry Kushiyaki Cottage Cheese with papaya salad is a must-try! But if you want to munch on a single snack all night, you can’t go wrong with the crispy fried chicken basket and the deliciously indulgent signature house dip. With so many options, it’s no surprise Yezdi Irani’s party is nothing short of amazing! Can’t wait to return and burn some serious calories on the dance floor!
