On a sunny Sunday afternoon, Marriott opened its doors to one of its kind art brunch in the heart of incredible India. An event delicately crafted in association with Mercedes Benz and executed by Jyoti Balani, a famed expert judge in matters of taste. Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed was the canopy party tent decorated in the shades of floral pink. Under which dwelled a lovely bar bursting with refreshing concoctions and high cadre mixologists such as Khushnaz Raghina. An outdoor tented bar that was lined with elites, grabbing their botanical know-how.
The art brunch, however, kicked off with Live musical entertainment, and a layout which showcased several paintings by Dr Krishna Agnihotri and Veidehi Gite, from behind the array of food counters.
Whether, it was the alluring cheese display, or the Sushi and Grill counters, each dish curated by Indore Marriott’s Executive Chef Vivek Kalia set the art brunch in motion. In particular, we enjoyed Salmon Uramaki, Prawns Nigiri, and the creamy-crunchy Tiger Tear Maki from the Sushi collection.
This sunny brunch on a winter afternoon was well-complimented by a live band whose music set the right mood. If music heals the soul, then on this day wherever we looked, there were smiles and unsurpassed enthusiasm in a class of its own. From pop to Hindi super hits, this musically sound band gave us plenty of reasons to groove.
Although, the best part of this whole event was the New Mercedes C Class on display, that had turned into a canvas for Mumbai based artist Jai Ranjit. Widely known for his precision painting and kinetic illustrations on luxury cars, Jai Ranjit has developed a reputation for his live-painting exhibits. It was an absolute delight to watch him sketch, a stunning piece of fine art on the new Mercedes C Class.
Yet, no art brunch is complete unless the exciting work of culinary impresses you. For this elite art brunch, Indore Marriott Chefs pulled together a great Michelin style menu that sets inspiration for your next brunch party.
Taking everything into account, Devesh Rawat, GM of Indore Marriott, Anuja Agarwal (Marketing) and the Mercedes team carried out a brilliant weekend brunch with a wide assortment of ‘outrageously’ luxurious culinary art and entertainment to enhance the experience.
