Bimhuis, the Musical Black Box of Amsterdam

Bimhuis Amsterdam

The Bimhuis is one such stylishly luxurious 19th-century club, situated inside an old furniture showroom. At the outset, this striking black-box of Jazz was set up by a bunch of progressive musicians, keen on building, a flourishing space for spontaneous performances. This venue is ideal if you want to socialize, participate, or get up close with the musicians by the waterfront. From inside this impressive contemporary restaurant, showcasing excellent acoustics, not only, can you enjoy a fantastic dinner with a great view but also, attend the bi-weekly workshop, if you plan your trip well in advance. Everything from the unique architecture, small well-crafted menu, to the concerts command your attention. The Bimhuis also hosted the 17th-edition of the Sonic Acts Festival in 2017.
